Polymer-modified Overlays
Overlays, as the term suggests, are polymer-modified cement products applied in thin layers over concrete or wood surfaces. The polymers are milky white glue-like resins that promote adhesion of the cementitious toppings and at the same time these resins strengthen and render the cement more flexible.
Why use a polymer overlay?
Replacing an existing concrete floor or patio can be expensive. With our overlay systems you can have a brand new floor at a fraction of the cost. With many systems and products available, selecting the most appropriate resurfacing systems can be hectic and confusing. We'll advise you on how to choose the best application for you, depending on the condition of the existing surface.
Microtoppings
Microtoppings are used to create an infinite variety of decorative as well as functional surfaces. The toppings can be integrally pigmented and provide a canvas for creating stunning designs. Microtoppings can replicate the look of natural materials such stone or marble, especially with the use of stencils that create the look of grouted tile or stone at a much lower price.Typically microtoppings are trowelled onto a concrete or prepared wood substrate. Types of Microtoppings: Stampable microtopping, Troweled microtopping, Stained microtopping, stenciled microtopping, and Seamless microtopping.
